Integrity

November 20, 2010

In June of last year I attended my first class in the 2012 Mystery School for Divine Mastery. I posted something about it at that time.

During our first session we were given a notebook. On the cover of the notebook was, among other things, a yellow silhouette of a butterfly. Above it were the words “Thou Shalt,” and on the wings were written:

  • Live With Integrity
  • Embrace Differences With Enthusiasm
  • Live From A Generous Heart
  • Allow Your Magnificence To Shine
  • Require Responsibility
  • Strive To Expand Consciousness
  • Live In Gratitude
  • Celebrate Our Creative Spirit
  • Honor The Earth
  • Honor The Universe

These new commandments were channelled by AlixSandra Parness, the founder of the school, from her deep connection to the Inspiration that has guided humans with appropriate commandments throughout history. The original Ten Commandments are mostly phrased “Thou Shalt Not …” and this was appropriate for the time it was given.

One of the definitions the Miriam-Webster gives for “Integrity” is “firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values.” Another definition is “the quality or state of being complete or undivided.” My understanding is that these commandments provide a Code of Honor by which we can live with personal integrity, fostering a state of “being complete or undivided” both within our own being and among all of humanity.

I’ll be discussing all of this in a tele-seminar, “Living with Integrity” on Sunday, November 28th, at 8:00 p.m. Click here to register for this seminar.
